    actors on the stage. Each figure with a wide stance turning to look at one another. The figures are costumed in silks,
    kinran
    brocades and
    birodo
    velvet, one with long trousers,
    chirimen
    sleeves embroidered in a bamboo fence design carrying two swords at the hip and a stick in his right hand, the other in robes, the outer
    birodo
    robe dyed iron black with subsequent deterioration couched with dynamic swirl design and some sort of stage prop in the foreground. The heads are carved of wood covered in
    gofun
    with insets for the hair and detailed painted features expressing the
    kabuki

    style black lacquered wood stage with cutout front panel backed with fabric. Signs of age, deterioration of black
