This pair of Japanese
hina ningyo
appears to be 75-100 years old
, and is made mainly of cloth, compressed sawdust, and lacquer, while the stands are wood. They depict an ancient emperor and empress. The labels on their undersides say "Certification" and the name of a cloth association.
There is general wear and dustiness, with some smudges, some age-spots, and some holes in the fabric, but there is no other significant structural damage.
