    Description

This is a very nice and rare Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) butter dish. It has a horseshoe shape with a horseshoe flange jutting out from the rim of the base. The lid features a bridled horse as the handle and there is a prism and diamond pattern on the underside of the flat top and bottom of the base. There is also a ring of leaves and vines around the middle of the sides of the lid. The raised patterns are on the insides and undersides of the pieces.
There are some minor condition issues that are common to pressed glass pieces that are over 130 years old and these have been taken into account when pricing this piece.
