    Pottery Art Studio Stoneware French Soft Butter Keeper Bell Crock Drip Glaze Lid Signed Terance
    XVII Handcrafted
    This lovely stoneware art pottery butter keeper crock was found at an estate sale.  It has a lovely drip glaze with the earth colors of beige, green, grey, and brown.  The interior has a pretty green glaze color.  The crock measures 4" high x 3.70" in diameter.  The bell measures approximately 3.12" high x 3.96" in diameter at the bottom and 2.56" in diameter at the top. The butter keeper is signed on the bottom by the artist, "Terance XVIII". Here are the instructions for use:  Pack dish lid/cup with butter, place water into base to about 1/3 full.  When lid is on it creates a seal that keeps the butter fresh and soft.  There is no refrigeration required.  The butter keeper is oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe.  The butter keeper is in great preowned condition with no chips or cracks and would make a great addition to your kitchen table.
