Pottery French Butter Keeper - Handmade in USA - Aqua Satin Matte.
Made by Clement Clay Works in Missouri. In excellent pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 4” x 4”.

Do you like soft spreadable butter? Our French Butter Keepers are the answer. Simply press a stick of butter into the top half. Pour about an inch of water into the bottom half. When the two halves are put together, the water in the bottom creates a seal. Leave the Butter Keeper in a cool area on your kitchen counter and you will be able to enjoy soft spreadable butter whenever you want.
Butter Keeper is approximately 4" tall by 4" wide and holds a full stick of butter.
Our stoneware pottery is glazed with food safe glaze and is safe for both the microwave and dishwasher, because life is too short to have to hand wash your pottery. :)
