    Description

    Up for Auction is this VERY Rare Antique The First JAPANESE Emperor Doll.
    Size: 13" tall x 7" wide x 3" deep
    The face is gofun, hands are papier mache
    Clothing are papier mache and fabric, Silk, Silk Tassels, Leather with Animal hair, faux Leather.
    The doll depicts Jimmu-Tenno (also called "Jinten"), who was according to legend a god who came down to Earth to become the very first Emperor of Japan.
    He Has his original Saber with Sheave, and a Quiver on his back and it has a tin shaped throwing star also (I think that is what it is), but is probably missing his Bow, and has a large long stick in one hand that measures approx. 15" Long, and it is sharpened at each end.  The only things that I see is some of the animal hair has come off due to age, and his hair is a little messy, and there is a VERY SMALL crack on his left hand (see pics), also around his
    cummerbund
    (lack of a better term) look like something is missing there...and it has a small hand painted porcelain bowl also.

    This antique piece will be sold as found. The condition considered very good for the age, but I believe some weapons missing. Please observe all pictures to know more about the piece. SOLD AS IS. So Please look and zoom over each picture to determine your own condition.  I have not seen any markings, but that doesn't mean that they are not there somewhere.
