Vintage Oneida Community Ivory/cream Lucite Flatware Silverware Case Chest Box MCM
1950s Ivory/cream swirl Lucite flatware case.
Produced for Oneida Community flatware.
Chest has 4 clear Lucite feet/legs and front handle.
The legs and handle have a scroll design to them.
Interior is lined with pink plush fabric molded to hold flatware.
Ivory plastic Knife loops in lid for proper storage.
Chest measures approx. 4" tall x 12" deep x 16" wide.
Chest does not have a Community label on the interior - missing?
Condition: Excellent pre-owned. Case exterior and legs/handle show Minor surface scratches consistent with age/use.
No cracks or splits. 2 chip marks,
on the top of the case (last photo)
and consider them minor in the overall condition of the case. The marks did become less prominent with cleaning - if you can get them totally clean, you would not even see them. Handles & legs is excellent condition-no breaks/splits.
